SCN Videos
We’ve decided to get a little snazzier, and do a bit more promotion of the work submitted to our networking slideshows.
Each month, after the event (well, within a day or two…) we’ll generate a little video slideshow over on Animoto of the submitted images and post it to the Facebook group so you can all tag yourselves in it.
That will help promote the work of those that contribute to it, and also be good for promoting the group across Facebook.
And away we go (again!)
Hello all,
We’ve finally moved the SCN site into it’s proper place. For those of you that probably weren’t aware, we had long-planned to do a different networking site for our members, and kept the blog (the site you were probably familiar with) as a separate entity.
But, after an awfully long time (and a bit of a server hack), we decided to abandon the networking site idea. Mainly because, we just don’t have the time and resources to develop it. Those of us behind the SCN have our own working lives and businesses to attend to, and there just aren’t enough hours in the day.
We’ll never say never though…!
Anyways – we’re back, on a rather stripped-down site – the old site was well out of date, and we’ve started fresh here. We had some “techy” issues with the old site and it kept getting hacked, so that’s why we’ve thrown it in the bin.
Anyway – we will try to be a little more diligent in keeping this site up to date. We’ll publish our events schedule here for the year, all of our Networking events, and anything else that comes along the pipeline. We’ll also try to keep you updated with availability notices for travelling creatives such as the professional models that visit Scotland on their ‘tours’, as well as workshops and other bits and pieces we feel might be of interest. Exhibitions, and the like.
Hopefully, we’ll see many of you at our Networking Nights – remember, that’s what the Scottish Creative Network is all about.
